Students will be given the following opportunities to demonstrate knowledge of class material:

Penalty for a missed test: see "Make up of Tests"
Two (2) weeks to make up a lecture test with a maximum grade of an 80. Two (2) weeks to make up a missed lab exam with a maximum grade of 60.
Ten (10) points off each class day assignment is late. There is no extra credit.
Makeup of Tests
A student may only make up one exam in this course for the semester; additional missed exams will result in an F for the course. All examsmust be made up within two weeks of dat first given. The maximum grade for any late test taken within the two week period will be 80 points. After two weeks, the missed exam may be made-up for a maximum grade of 70 if the student is passing. Students who miss the final exam will be given an F for the course.

This is a lecture course presented using Power Point. This course is Web-enchanced with materials made available on WebCT including class notes, study guides, etc. In addition, students will take quizzes online in WebCT or in Mastering A&P over lecture material. It is the student's responsibility to print off materials available on WebCT to bring to class and to keep track of quizzes posted on WebCT & in Master A&P and take them within the allotted time frame. Group activities will also be included, along with cass discussions. There is also a laboratory component.
Major Course Requirements:
- attend class a minimm of 75 % of class days (no more than 4 absences)
- attend laboratory a minimum of 75 % of scheduled periods (no more than 4 absences)
- complete testing and laboratory assignments in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Course Description | BIOL 2402 | Human Anatomy & Physiology
Continuation of BIOL: 2401. A study of the structure and functions of the organ systems of the human body. Particular emphasis will be placed on physiology.
Prerequisuit: BIOL 2401
